The ZeeVee HDBridge 2380 8-Ch 480i Encoder & Modulator converts up to eight composite video signals with analog audio to 480i digital video, and sends the signals over your existing coax cabling to an unlimited number of tuner-equipped displays.The 2380 features eight composite inputs and one RF output. All eight signals inputs are encoded and simultaneously available as channels via the RF output. Using the built-in tuners of your HDTV eliminates the need for matrix switches or receivers. All the signals are sent over the coax and use the monitor's built-in tuner to select the channel to watch. Output to an unlimited number of displays is possible by using optional splitters. Video is encoded into MPEG-2 and audio into AC-3. 1RU rack ears are integrated into the device for rack mounting.
