KDS-17EN is an encoder and transmitter of 4K60 (4:4:4) HDMI video with HDCP 1.4/2.2, audio, RS-232, IR and CEC signals over an Ethernet cable. Supports H.264 and H.265 open standard. The signals are encoded and transmitted as an IP stream in real time in Unicast (one-to-one) or Multicast (one-to-many) modes. Has an HDMI output, audio input and output as well as an SFP slot for an optical or copper transceiver allowing Ethernet traffic over IP. Can be powered by the KDS-100DEC decoder via PoE+.
