MA247MR Mixing Amplifier, 40Hz to 25kHz Frequency, 5+1 Zone

The MA247MR is a 240 watts 6-zone 100 volt amplifiersystem with an integrated FM/AM tuner and a mediaplayer that allows playing MP3-songs from a USB memorystick or SD-card. This mixing amplifier has been improvedwith 24 volt dedicated priority output per zone for morelistening and operating comfort. Control the volume in 6different zones, have a different sound source in one zonecompared to all other zones or do selective paging in allzones without interrupting the music in the other zones.There is nothing like this on the market! It can be usedstand-alone, or as the core of an expandable soundsystem.Because the MA247MR offers independent sourceselection for zones 1 and 2-6, it can be used as a multi-source zoning system. Zone 1 is a fully independent pre-amplified zone and allows the installer to use an externalpower amplifier to amplify it. It is especially useful forlarge areas that require many speakers, like factoryproduction areas. This has the particular advantage thatthe installer can use the external amplifier to suit hispower needs for that particular zone.Zones 2 to 6 can be individually volume controlled usingthe integrated speaker volume controls. Zones number 5and 6 are 70-Volts outputs, these are compatible with100 volt speakers, but by nature, these outputs will havea slightly reduced output level, meant for the ‘quiet’zones in a multi-zone system.MA247MR has four balanced inputs on Euro block.Microphone input 1 is optimized to be used with theApart MICPAT-6, a selective 6-zone paging microphone,designed especially for use with the MA247MR. Thismicrophone is the master microphone. Maximum five ofthese microphones can be switched in parallel on thissingle input! Microphone inputs 2 - 4 are designed to beused with the Apart MICPAT-2 (2 zone groups)microphone or any other microphone depending on theApplication.On the MA247MR, you can preset 2 paging groups to bepaged with microphones 2 – 4.There are 6 different priority levels on the MA247MR.When any priority has been activated, integrated 24VDCsupply output (max 0.6A) can switch priority relays ofloudspeaker attenuators or other devices. In case of mainspower failure, the MA247MR can be powered via the 24VDC power input. If an external 24V UPS is connected to theunit, the amplifier will automatically switch to it.Professional installers will also appreciate the possibility touse an external amplifier as a paging amp. Suppose zones 2and 3 should not receive paging messages, meaning thereshould always be background music. In this situation, theinstaller can use an external amplifier for paging. When apaging call is sent out, zones 2 and 3 will stay connected tothe internal amplifier and will continue to receivebackground music. The other zones will hear the pagingmessage. The MA247MR will disconnect these zones fromthe internal amp and will send the paging message to theexternal amp. When paging is finished, these zones will beswitched back automatically to the internal amp.When required, it is even possible to use a 2-channelamplifier (e.g. the PA2240BP) as external amplifier, withone channel assigned to power zone 1 of the MA247MR,while the second channel of the external amplifier is usedto power paging messages.This amplifier is also available as amplifier without tunerand media player (MA247).
